MAZAK OPTONICS CORPORATION established a presence in the U.S in 1987 for the marketing, sales, service and support of Mazak laser cutting systems in North America.
Originally a joint venture, Yamazaki Mazak Corporation obtained full control of the operations in 2005. Mazak Optonics specializes solely in CO² Laser cutting processes
for the metal fabrication, structural steel, and construction markets.

There parent company, Yamazaki Mazak Corporation ( Oguchi, Japan), is now the world's largest manufacturer of machine tools, including CNC turning centers, machining centers, and laser cutting systems. There company's commitment to technology innovation and quality has resulted on worldwide manufacture and distribution of hundreds of types of high productivity machines, cells and systems.
